  • We’re looking for an e-commerce specialist who combines strong CRO and merchandising instincts with solid design execution. You’ll own the day-to-day performance and visual experience of our storefronts across both Shopify and Amazon—making them convert better, look sharper, and move faster.

This role sits at roughly 60–70% e-commerce strategy and execution (CRO, merchandising, analytics, listing optimization) and 30–40% design execution (page design, visual assets, brand consistency). It’s for someone who is equally energized by digging into a funnel report and crafting a beautiful PDP layout.

You’ll work directly with, and report to,  our Director of E-commerce & Marketing to continuously improve the storefronts, combining strong design instincts with data-driven decision making. You should be comfortable executing within Shopify’s native tools, optimizing Amazon listings and A+ content, building and updating pages, and running CRO initiatives end-to-end. This role requires someone who can think strategically, move quickly, and use AI tools as a natural extension of their workflow.

    What You’ll Do

    Shopify

    •        Update and optimize multiple Shopify storefronts using the theme customizer and native sections (little to no coding required).

    •        Design and implement high-converting pages including homepages, product pages, collections, landing pages, and campaign experiences.

    •        Build landing pages and microsites for product launches, partnerships, and seasonal campaigns (Shopify and/or tools like Webflow, Framer, or Squarespace).

    •        Continuously improve UX/UI with a strong focus on conversion rate optimization (CRO).

    •        Identify friction points, propose tests, implement changes, and measure results.

    •        Optimize product merchandising, collections, PDP optimization, upsells, and cross-sells following guidance from the Director of E-commerce & Marketing.

    •        Regularly research new apps from the Shopify app ecosystem that could elevate the store and pitch these updates with strong logic (reviews, upsells, email/SMS, etc.)

    Amazon

    •        Optimize Amazon product listings including titles, bullets, descriptions, A+ content, and Brand Store pages for both conversion and search visibility.

    •        Design and update Amazon A+ content modules and Brand Store assets that maintain brand consistency with the Shopify storefront.

    •        Monitor Amazon listing performance (conversion rate, sessions, buy box, search ranking) and propose listing-level improvements.

    •        Coordinate creative and copy updates across Shopify and Amazon to ensure brand consistency across platforms.

    •        Stay current on Amazon policies, content guidelines, and new features (Posts, Brand Story, Premium A+, etc.)

    Analytics, Design & Cross-Functional

    •        Analyze performance using Shopify Analytics, Amazon Seller Central reporting, and GA4 to inform decisions.

    •        Own the visual design of storefronts, landing pages, and campaigns—making typography, layout, hierarchy, and imagery decisions that elevate the brand while serving conversion.

    •        Create and update on-brand visual assets (banners, graphics, email visuals, A+ modules) using Canva and AI tools following campaign briefs.

    •        Write clear, actionable briefs for designers or developers when needed and oversee execution outside of your scope of work.

    •        Use AI tools across workflows (design, copy, analysis, testing) to improve speed and output quality.

    What We’re Looking For

    •        Proven experience managing and optimizing Shopify stores (please include URLs)

    •        Hands-on experience optimizing Amazon listings and Brand Stores (please include ASINs or storefront links)

    •        Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central, A+ content builder, and Brand Registry tools

    •        Understanding of Amazon SEO basics (keyword research, indexing, search term optimization) and how Amazon’s conversion levers differ from Shopify’s (reviews, pricing, Prime eligibility, image stack, etc.)

    •        Portfolio demonstrating strong typography, layout, and visual hierarchy across e-commerce work

    •        Comfortable making independent design decisions without a brand designer holding your hand

    •        Can articulate why a design choice converts, not just why it looks good

    •        Solid grasp of CRO principles and e-commerce UX/UI best practices

    •        Comfortable building and updating pages independently without developer support

    •        Experience with Shopify Analytics, GA4, and A/B testing tools

    •        Familiarity with Klaviyo, Omnisend, or similar email/SMS platforms

    •        Proficiency with Canva and AI design tools (e.g., Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT)

    •        Strong written communication and ability to work asynchronously

    •        Strategic mindset with the ability to prioritize based on revenue impact

    •        Proactive and entrepreneurial minded

    •        Dedicated to being a master of their craft

    Nice to Have

    •        Basic knowledge of Liquid, HTML/CSS

    •        Experience with Amazon advertising (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands)

    •        Experience working across multiple storefronts or international markets

    •        Ability to speak multiple languages a plus

    How We Evaluate Candidates

As part of the process, you’ll complete a short paid audit ($150, 60–90 minutes). You’ll review our Shopify store and one Amazon listing, then provide a one-page summary covering:

    •        Top 3 Shopify conversion opportunities (with rationale, effort, and impact)

    •        Biggest mobile friction point on Shopify and how to fix it with a functional design presented

    •        Top 2 Amazon listing optimization opportunities (image stack, A+ content, copy, or SEO)

    •        One way to improve brand consistency between our Shopify store and Amazon presence

    •        Merchandising feedback (collection + PDP)

    •        30-day prioritization plan across both platforms

We’re looking for clear, specific thinking tied to business impact—not generic design feedback.

What Success Looks Like After 90 Days

By the end of the first 90 days, we’d expect to see measurable progress across both platforms. Specific targets will be calibrated to your starting baseline during onboarding, but our directional goals are:

    Performance Outcomes

    •        Shopify conversion rate lift of 8–15% on the primary storefront vs. the trailing 90-day baseline, measured in Shopify Analytics and GA4

    •        Revenue per visitor (RPV) increase of 10%+, with clear attribution to specific changes (page redesigns, merchandising shifts, app additions, etc.)

    •        Amazon listing conversion rate improvement of 8–15% on priority ASINs vs. trailing 90-day baseline

    •        Mobile bounce rate reduced by 10%+ on key Shopify landing pages and PDPs

    Execution & Output

    •        At least 4 structured A/B tests completed with documented hypotheses, results, and decisions (ship, iterate, or kill)

    •        5+ landing pages or campaign experiences shipped, with each launched within agreed timelines (typically 5–7 business days from brief to live)

    •       All PDP and collection pages audit completed within the first 30 days, with prioritized changes implemented by day 60

    •        A+ content refreshed on top 5 priority ASINs with measurable lift in conversion or session-to-purchase rate

    •        Amazon Brand Store reviewed and meaningfully updated with documented performance impact

    •        Cross-platform brand consistency audit completed within first 30 days, with execution plan by day 60

    Process & Quality

    •        A documented testing roadmap maintained in a shared doc, with hypotheses ranked by projected revenue impact

    •        Weekly performance reporting established, covering CVR, RPV, AOV, and test results, with clear next-step recommendations

    •        At least 2 new apps or tools evaluated and either implemented or rejected with written rationale tied to expected ROI

    •        Director of E-commerce & Marketing rates performance as meeting or exceeding expectations on 90 Day review across execution speed, design quality, and strategic thinking

  • We are looking for a very special person who knows and loves The Skin Deep to step up as our Global Community Activator.

We have sparks all over the world; content creators, podcasters, affiliates, events organizers, superfans and community builders. We need you to be the oxygen that ignites those sparks into a glowing campfire. We need you to connect them, keep things moving, and turn that energy into real collaborations.

This job is all about energy.

You are someone who lives and breathes the Skin Deep mission. You’re a ‘people person’ and connector in the truest sense. You’ll be managing relationships with our community, coordinating content and partnerships, organising online and in-person events, live sessions and meetups all over the world. It’s a mix of talking to people, keeping things organized, and making sure ideas actually happen.

Working closely alongside our Head of Social & Community and Director of Growth & Partnerships, we are looking for someone who is organized, confident and ready to take a run at a big opportunity:

    • Affiliate Growth: You will be developing and managing relationships with affiliates on Shopify and TikTok Shop sellers, enabling collaborations and ongoing promotion of the brand to drive excitement and shared success..

    • Championing our Connectors: Supporting our network of podcasters, creators, influencers, and community organizers by creating resources for them, handling content briefs, approvals, product gifting, and discount codes.

    • Online Community Building: Creating and facilitating digital spaces, online meetups and live sessions where our superfans, team and collaborators can connect with each other and create opportunities to collaborate together.

    • Global Events: Leading and coordinating online and in-person events around the world, working to help secure sponsors, managing invitations and RSVPs, and aligning content creation with attendees.

This is a 6-month initial role with a huge opportunity to grow as the community does. You can do this from anywhere in the world. While English is our primary working language, we’d love someone who is bilingual and brings a truly international perspective to the team.

    HOW TO APPLY

    Send us two things:

    1. A short video (2–3 minutes maximum) — introduce yourself and tell us: what do you see as the single biggest opportunity for The Skin Deep to activate its community right now, and how would you approach it?

    2. A brief note (no more than half a page) with links to any relevant work — communities you've built, partnerships you've brokered, or campaigns you've run.

We're not looking for polish. We're looking for perspective, genuine enthusiasm for the mission, and clear evidence that you know how to make things happen.

We review applications on a rolling basis. This role will move quickly for the right person.

  • The Skin Deep is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to own and grow our email channel across our DTC product line. You'll be responsible for the full lifecycle of our email program — from strategy and segmentation to design, copy, and performance — building flows and campaigns that deepen customer relationships and drive revenue. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, design, and brand, so you'll need both creative instincts and a strong analytical foundation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, build, and ship email campaigns and automated flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back, browse abandonment, replenishment, VIP, etc.) that drive measurable revenue.

    • Optimize existing flows and automations through ongoing A/B testing of subject lines, creative, copy, send times, segmentation, and offers.

    • Design and code conversion-focused emails that render cleanly across major clients and devices.

    • Build and optimize on-site popups, signup forms, and landing pages to grow the list and improve capture-to-purchase rates.

    • Develop segmentation strategies based on purchase behavior, engagement, and lifecycle stage to deliver more relevant messaging.

    • Own deliverability, list hygiene, and sender reputation; monitor and act on inbox placement, bounce rates, and engagement signals.

    • Partner with the creative and brand team to ensure all email, popup, and landing page assets follow The Skin Deep brand guidelines (voice, visual identity, tone).

    • Report weekly and monthly on KPIs (revenue, open rate, CTR, conversion rate, LTV impact, list growth) and translate findings into a clear testing and optimization roadmap.

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with paid media, social, and product teams to align messaging and maximize lifetime value.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of email marketing experience for a DTC consumer brand, ideally in the games, lifestyle, wellness, or relationships space.

    • Proven track record of building and optimizing email flows that meaningfully contributed to revenue.

    • Hands-on proficiency with a major ESP (Klaviyo strongly preferred); comfortable with segmentation, dynamic content, and flow logic.

    • Strong eye for design and copy — able to build emails that feel on-brand and convert.

    • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email; experience troubleshooting rendering issues.

    • Experience building popups, signup forms, and landing pages (e.g., Klaviyo, Privy, Justuno, Unbounce, Shopify, or similar).

    • Familiarity with Shopify or a comparable DTC ecommerce platform.

    • Comfortable with analytics and reporting; able to identify what's working, what isn't, and what to test next.

    • Strong sense of brand — understands how to write and design within an established voice and visual system.

    Nice to Have

    • Experience marketing games, card decks, journals, or other lifestyle products.

    • Familiarity with SMS marketing as a complement to email.

    • Basic experience with Figma or Adobe Creative Suite for asset adjustments.

    • Experience working with small or scrappy teams where you can move quickly and own outcomes.
